Richard "StarKing" was born and raised in harlem, New york. He chose
the name StarKing because he says its not a person, it's a level of
attainment. When you put forth your best effort and passion into
anything you do, you reach that "StarKing" level. We should all strive
to reach that level and "StarKing" is a reminder to stay focused. His
love for music came at an early age as he would watch his mother sing
and dance to 70's soul music. He would always try to rap at an early
age but later on discovered his true gift and love was in music
production. "Learning the language of music" is his goal. His role
models in music production range from Quincy Jones to Swizz Beatz. "I
want to be as diverse as Quincy and as energetic as Swizz" is one of
his mottos. He is currently in school for music theory to increase his
ever growing knowledge of music.Welcome to his world where everyone
