Hollywood J
A young businessman, rapper, producer, and trend-setter, Hollywood J or better known as J.Ellz is on the rise in the Music Industry. Hollywood J was born Jarad Long on October 12, 1988 in Chicago, Ill. He spent some of his life in Atlanta, Georgia but later moved back to Chicago and began taking his music career to the next level. He began attending local freestyle battles at a young age as his only way to express his love of music and worked his way to making a name for himself in Chicago. Although he went from party to party and club to club attending local battles, he gained respect from the fans and the local rappers in the area. As time went on, the scene began to bore J as he did not accelerate his progression of music as he liked. He had no knowledge of the music industry or musical background other than the radio and his grandfather who was a guitar player. "I feel like my grand-daddy passed away physically but I really believe either his soul is still living in me, or he is watching over me personally so I can carry on his love that he had for music", says Hollywood J.

Later on J teamed up with a rap trio called “The Teamstaz” and they began taking their careers to the next level. "J" and the group attended many shows and high school functions where they showcased their talents and made guest appearances in many places as well as beginning to record their debut album. In high school J gained many friends and enemies for doing what many wanted to do and being successful at it. During J’s freshman year in high school, he started producing with a program called Fruity Loops. As the years went on J realized that he was holding himself back from the stardom he had always dreamed of. Hollywood J began re-making radio hits and adding his "touch" on the records. He made a big internet buzz with his remix to Gorilla Zoe's hit record "Hood Figga" as well as remixes from Omarion, T.I. and Yung Joc, to name a few. The internet also opened doors to promoting, marketing, selling beats, working with other local and nation wide recording artists as well as keeping in touch with his roots in Atlanta. J has made a name for him self and still has more work ahead of him. He specializes in a form of crunk music being an Atlanta-bred artist with his own touch on it.

Now that J has moved back to his proclaimed hometown Atlanta he has been hard at work with his music and has recently signed to Slip N Slide Records as an in-house producer. He has been on the road touring and performing in different cities and has been to many places he has only dreamed of. He is currently working on several tracks with a wide variety of artists stretching his name and resume from the dirty south all the way to the west coast. Hollywood J is set to be a monster in this game!
