Nina T Glaspy whose rap name is Nina Beretta (Lady P-Nina B) started pursuing her lyrical gangster rap career in 2005 with her former Rap/R&B duo group GTGP. She was born in Benton Harbor, MI and has lived in Virginia Beach, VA; San Diego, CA; and Jacksonville, FL where she now resides. She has been writing songs, poetry, and raps since she was 8 and has a history of family members who are also musically inclined. Keeping this in mind motivates her to move forward and raise the bar of female gangster rap. She has been quoted as being “The Nina Beretta in the Flesh” and “The Truth” by some of her peers and music contacts.

Nina Beretta is now a solo rap artist and looking to land a deal with Slip N Slide Records where she is currently apart of their “On Da Grind“ network. She plans to take female gangster rap to the next level since it is in fact under rated! She plans to advance her career by doing as many shows and mixtapes as possible to “hustle” the rap game as males so often do. She has done shows in DC, Maryland, VA, Florida, & ATL. She has performed in various clubs such as; T.I,’s Club Crucial, ATL’s Club Figure 8, VA’s Club Posh Dolche, Maryland’s The Legend Night Club, & many more clubs and venues along the way. She plans to do mixtapes with Slip N Slide’s own DJ Neako & Bigga Rankin to further promote her music.

She has worked with producers of M&B Productions and Lil Syn of Jacksonville, FL who have helped her to catch the attention of Mr. Bigg Time of 1803 records. Working with Mr. Bigg Time and his 1803 records family, being featured on various mixtapes, having 569,594 and counting myspace hits, and selling over 1,000 copies have been some huge accomplishments for her career. Nina Berretta has performed at Apache Café in ATL with other artists such as Princess formerly of Crime Mob and Xtaci from Grand Hustle. She has also performed at WeyOne Sports Bar & Lounge where she caught the attention of J Holiday’s DJ (DJ Bout It), through obtaining those contacts and exposure it is all a part of the bigger plan to promote herself.

“Live, sleep, and breathe music is what I do and will continue to do” is the quote she uses to continue at her passion and childhood dream, not to be a star but to “reflect the streets from a true gangster female point of view and make the world feel it and love it.” Nina Beretta will continue to promote her lyrics & songwriting skills and pursue her mission to become the next level of female gangster rap.
