Great Success comes with challenges and struggles. A guy that's dedicated and works hard at everything he do, Iselah Ambrose a.k.a Ise Kid has overcome many obstacles. He was born in Antigua and started his early childhood education in Flushing Queens, New York. Music has always been his passion. At age fourteen (14) he joined his cousins in the DJ dancehall circle where he added his own flavor.
In 1998 he decided to release his frist CD "It's a long journey" on the Shadow Law Record Label and sold a number of 7,000 copies. Over the years Ise Kid has performed with various other artist such as: Buju Banton, Bounty Killer , P. Diddy, Drew Hill, just to name a few artist on his resume. In 2001 Ise Kid began working on "Rough Neck Sons of Soul",with the little success of a nation wide tour and a few tv appearances. "Rough Neck Sons of Soul" sold over 8,000 copies.
He did his second album "Dangerous minds ready to blow" distrubuted by Red Galaxy Records in 2004. Ise Kid decided to record "Sin-Ful-Thoughts" and later was nominated for a Grammy on the 47th Annual Grammy Awards in 2005. Sin-Ful-Thoughts" was created and Distrubuted by Sonic Waves International. Collaboration with his brother Elijah.The CD was a cross-over of Hip-Hop/Dancehall and sold 12,000 records. Currently Ise Kid is in the studio recording some hot new tracks for his mixtape such as Booku Money, Keys to the City, Flashy and Internet Love which will highlight his versatility and demonstrate his ability to appeal to all music lovers.
Ise Kid stated that "it's my time to shine and without a doubt I am ready to take the game to another level." He has combined years of experience in music along with street style and class to develop a unique sound. Ise Kid is looking forward to give fans something to jive and vibe about. Back with a vengeance "Ise Kid the new Teflon Dappa Don" has mastered his flow and style.
