HOOD SUPREME
was founded in late 2009 by Virginia recording artist, Avontae "Prospectacular" Smith (who is also the cousin of pop sensation, Chris Brown). The group was formed when Prospectacular and rapper/crooner Tavon "FishBrax" Fisher was introduced by a close friend of the two artists at a studio in Westmoreland, Virginia. Shortly after joining forces, the duo recorded their smash hit "Half on the Bottles" and quickly gained a local buzz while performing at various events through out the Central and Northern Virginia areas, and even gaining radio play on Richmond's 106.5 The Beat.
After the successful release of their first single, the group decided to complete the team's roster by adding another rapper, Quatay "Gunna" Smith, and proceeded to record and finish their first mixtape, "Far From Average" that was released in Spring of 2010. Hood Supreme has worked with many local talents such as, the 804 Clique and a few others, as they solidified themselves as one of the most talented and unique groups that Virginia has yet come across. The group plans to continue on recording great music, and be heard and appreciated by music fans all over the world. .
