My name is Derek Bishop. I’m from South Bend, Indiana. 21 years old, oldest of 12, 2 siblings in Michigan. Just re-entered society in January 2011 I was incarcerated 3 years for armed robbery. I’m unemployed, awaiting enrollment into school. I’ve been rapping since I was 12. Besides an NBA player I always wanted to be a rapper to prvide for my family. I’m out here living dollar to dollar, I’ll take stardom however it comes and I’m loyal to someone who is to me. I’ll die for my family, money, and my the ones who are loyal to me. My girl been my main source of support for 9 years off and on. I feel like music is, if not my last chance, then one of them. My family needs this, I can die now but if my fam gets the chance to leave the hood and be well off, not even rich I’ll be happy. This ain’t all about me, my pops died while I was locked up left when I was 2. And I’m trying to bring SlipNSlide more money. I’m a starving artist.
